Another one bites the dust, and off the bench. Tamiya's Panzer III Ausf. N with photo etch & aluminium gun barrel, and a very nice kit too. The only things I added was all the gear on the back, including a bucket just for Ron lol and two figures in winter clothes. Believe it or not this was 90% brush painted, the other 10% is car primer in white. What I did was sprayed it in white primer then thought whats the point airbrushing it in gray then add the winter camo, so I just brushed the gray on lol, worked well too. The wet mud was fun to do as well, I just used Vallejo pigments then used Pledge multi surface floor wax with a little black Vallejo mixed in, brush on the lower part of the hull a few times it went darker & looks like wet mud.............

Before the paint, all the work on show...........

All finished (ish), now then, I'm nowt one to paint figures but I think I've done a good job on these two and look just right on this........

Now it's finished. Needed something for it to sit on but I'm running out of space, so I made this simple base. It's made to look like a German ammo crate

Good to read you're back into it mate....I've hit the proverbial brick wall, and I can't find a tall enough ladder - Yet!!

This is one excellent model and no mistake and I see you have renewed your 'Bucket membership'! Nice one.

Great looking tank and crew, both well presented.

Keep having fun mate.

Ron

Much appreciated fellas, really enjoyed this build. And I enjoyed finding out what you can do with pigments to get a different look. Yes Ron, back in the bucket club lol. Not nice hitting that "brick wall" is it mate, but you'll knock it down. If not, throw some Boddingtons at it, always knocks me down lol.

Have fun, John
