This is what I recommended to PJ for this GB. Some of you will remember I butchered this some while ago to create an old, neglected van used by the rock group 'Blood Angels'. Hopefully PJ will end up with a pristine, well-maintained Police van.

Meanwhile, sprue shots:

's about time for some progress pics.

This is the second time I've been involved with this kit and it's just as good as I remembered. No issues with fit anywhere and only tiny bits of flash to deal with. If anyone wants a 'shake 'n' bake' Transit kit, this is the one.

Apologies for the blurry pics. Looks like I gotta dig out my mini tripod again.

There are a few decals left to add, but with both me and PJ being on the clumsy side, we decided to let varnish these and let them settle before adding more.

Didn't fancy leaving the back totally empty so knocked up some seats. I don't know if there were ever any fitted to the real vans, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Enjoyable build apart from losing bits of paint and decals (I still had the decals left over from my build so no problem with replacements) due to masking tape.

Comments and criticisms welcome.

Well done PJ. Those of us of a certain age well remember when Transit vans looked like that. Takes us back in time.
