Primer on the carpet!

Vallejo Polythurethane Grey Primer. On the two-year-old pale coloured fitted dining room carpet. Noticed a day later when it had dried. Two teaspoonfuls of cellulose thinners (tested on an inconspicuous corner), agitation of the tufts with a fork, dabbing and wiping until dry. Next day no sign, no smell, no repercussions from the Memsahib. Whew! Conclusion: keep all gooey stuff upstairs.

Lucky escape Steve!

Women will never understand that accidents just happen sometimes...Until they back the car into a post.

So far, so good! But there is still a faint lingering smell of the thinners. She's out to teatime so I will open the dining room door for an hour or so. (Women can smell three molecules of a misdeed in two seconds flat.)
