Anyone got any ideas on what would be the best way of making a good background for taking pictures, colour, lighting etc as my pictures do not show up as good as I would like.

Andy.

I'd suggest some photos out side in daylight, preferably in the sun with a back ground of trees, something like Spanner would do .

Thank you very much John, outside you say? I live in Scotland and sunny days are few and far between. :smiling5:

Nice one Andy.

A good plain back ground is a large sheet of heavy non-reflective paper or card, poster size. (A1?, A0?) Buy serveral, white, a mid grey and a black/dark grey.

Best weather day for outdoor photography would be a light overcast. Still more light than you get indoors, but the shadows will be less harsh…..
Failing that, a neutral back cloth of similar material, a pop up Photo Booth, and a couple of good daylight bulbs should sort you out.

A beautiful beast of a motor.
Very well done on a great job Andy.

Natural light is by far the best.

Keep your background simple. The one you've used is ideal, Just avoid white because as you can see, it will reflect on any paintwork, particularly gloss.
