Received this request which I am placing here,it seems that there is a sudden demand for plans of wartime bombers !

Hej from Denmark

Do you know where I can get the plans (drawings ) to short Stirling, is got to be for a electric plane.

My home email is:

tycho-brahe@post.tele.dk

Adress:

***Nothing known in the electric line, however the wartime Harold Towner plan should still be available from specialised sources, this was intended for rubber power, however it would not be too difficult to convert to electric or even scale up to make a more practical solution to your needs.

The Towner plan of the Short Stirling is available from a couple of sources. In the UK there is Pete's Plans in Cardiff, Wales (peter.williams@btinternet.com) or alternatively there is Bob Holman plans in the US (www.bhplans.com). Bob doesn't have the Towner plans listed but they are available.

I have a number of Towner plans including the Short Stirling, which could easily be modified for electric motors and radio control if desired.

Hope this helps. If you have any further questions don't hesitate to send me an email.

Regards

Thanks for that link Paul,as this person is not a member here I will gladly pass this information onto him in Denmark.

It certainly would make a superb electric conversion especially with all of the lightweight gear now available, and excellent little motors around.
