have a look at knitting needles you need to cut them in two then rejoin that way you will get the nose and the tapered back end
If you cut them in two and then rejoin them won't you end up with a knitting needle again?

airshow set arrived today. finished one of the smokewinders.here are some pics of the set and the finished smokewinder

(also came with 2 white metal AIM-9 rails as well which i will picture later once the paint has dried)

:smile11: Good point Richard i should of explained it a bit more lol " That is cut each needle in two then join the two tapered ends together" You just cut so far along the taper to match the nozzle you want
