Hi all got this for my birthday ( not built an rc car since I was in my early 20s, over 40 yrs ago)

Things have changed a lot (detail wise I don't think for the better)

Cool! Only ever owned one RC car. Nothing flash and not a self build either.

Very nice. Was into nitro RC, cars and trucks about 20 years ago. I wonder where I put them?

There is a Mardave Marauder IC RC, and electric powered Tamiya Wild Willy and a Tamiya Monster Beetle hiding in my loft somewhere.

And she is very robust (let my grandson have a go) he's 2 got a lot of crashing and rough handling but there is not a mark on it.

One tip I have used on my RC cars to support the body is to use cut-down NERF bullets.

Slide the bullet on the post and then slide the body down. Seems to keep them in place on the RC cars I have :smiling3:
