Hi guys,

Got this one finished over the weekend. Pig of a kit that just didn't fit together at the end. Not happy with it.

Cheers guys. :smiling3:

Jim, this is a 2005 kit, so not that old, but certainly not up to the standards of any modern Tamiya kit.

Steve, theres a lot you cant' see from the photos. Primarily the fit of the glass in the body, and the body on the chassis, but also the fit of the engine cover to eveything else.

Bob,
There is nowt wrong with that mate. Despite your fitting troubles that has turned out great.

Very cleanly finished Bob. I can see where your issues were around the engine cover, but the rest you’ve mentioned are not visible. Your modelling skills are top notch mate, don’t beat yourself up over a manufacturing fault.

Sorry Bob, but I'm with the guys here. Yea, I noticed the engine cover not closing on the one side properly, but couldn't see anything else wrong with this build.. A nice paint finish, great decals and the glass looks tight all the way around too Sir!!! Enzo would be proud........

Cheers Hong. :smiling3:

Yes I was pleased with the CF work, first time I've used sheet CF on complex shapes. You cant actually see it that well now the bodies on, but I also did the seat and door cards.
