Patrick (Dubster) suggested I post my finished builds in a completed thread so more people could see my ' excellent ' words , his words not mine , I like to think each build is a step forwards or backwards to excellence :D

So hear is the first completed build the tamiya Matilda , good kit but with some fit issues , full discription is in the diorama chat section under somewhere in North Africa

Great build Alan, clean but well weathered, nice subject the 'Tilly 2' Though her older sister 'Tilly 1' was rather a bust.View attachment 122941
Jim that's true the first Tilly was a bit of a damp squib :D

I like yours though it's unusual:smiling3:

Hi Alan

What a delight to see an old gal looking very weathered and beaten ( only by the weather not the Enemy.

You have achieved a clean build yet the withering has taken it off just so and not overkill.

I've never built this kit but heh there is always time to see if I can get near to what you have done.

Awesome is the word to describe this build and will defiantly suit a dio of your choice ( maybe somewhere in Africa??? But that's only a suggestion:D:p:D:D:D:D:D!!!!!!

Your builds on here always inspire me to improve my growing skills ( skills still to be seen!!!

Well done that man!!

Regards

Robert
