I have locked the thread for the wishes for the builds. I now have the "winning" choices. So its just in time to tell your loved ones, kids, SWMBO what you want for Christmas! :bounce:

First the GB winners:

Captured with 7

WWI also got 7

Modern Armour received 6

Twin Boom 6 as well for this one!

So they are the fixed Group build subjects. Dates are as yet undecided.

Special Group Build Winners:

Vietnam with 9

Crash got 8

The Pacific received 6

Tank Busters got 4.

So now we have the SIG builds just need to find a order for them......

As per the norm I will throw a couple of single type builds in here and there to try temp a few more to come out of their comfort zones and try something they other wise would never dream of doing!!! ;)

I thank those that took the time to vote and post their preferred subject and hope that we have a great time building on these subject.

I am thinking of just running the builds in the order listed above; the ones that where requested most first and so on down the line.

If any one has objections to that plan, please say so as soon as poss. (ie before I do the calender).

Happy shopping

Thanks for all the hard work you've put in Ian.

I'll go with what ever you decide.

It'll be my first go at a GB so be kind.

Sounds good to me but one request (if no one has any objections). Could the order of the SIG's be rearranged slightly to switch the places of Vietnam and Pacific?

The reason for this is I have great ideas in mind for both of them but I'll have to get better at skin tones before I attempt the Vietnam one?

Pretty please.

With sugar on top.

Hi Ian.

Just a few question...

The GB Modern Armour is the third (July / September), not?

And a soft skin like Land Rover Wolf is possible to construct? Or alone tanks?

Thanks for all and thanks for your great work to!!

The end date for that one is set to the first of April, so you get plenty of time yet.

Sorry Drew, but I think that I will be starting all kinds of "interesting discussions" by doing that. I fell that the most fair way is to take them in the order as stated. The most requested first.

Dont worry you still have time to get a bit of practice in. I am sure that you have a couple of figures you can use as test dummies.

I hope that you understand the reasoning. If I change the order so you can get more time to work on skin tones. Someone else will want the Pacific build held back as they want more time to learn to do water or tropical forest or Japanese camo....

That will be fine Polux. The term Modern Armour was being used on the widest context. Any military from after WWII is allowed.

A land rover will be ok to use.

The term modern armour was used rather loosly. Any Military subject from after WWII is what I think I said

I see your point Ian. How long are SIGs anyway? Am I right in thinking they're longer than GBs?

The sig's run for 6 months Drew so plenty of time to get your skin tones sorted.
