Her is the list of suggestions for themed builds.

Due to me being thick you should be able to vote for 4 builds. The new forum software allows loads of questions but I cant set the number of votes. So PLEASE be fair and only vote on 4 favourites..

Any questions ask before you vote.

Well it would be silly not to. I think all vote for at least one of there own suggestions....As you too have done...

Looks like we have a few favourites already.

What is an ugly bird?

Well, the correct question is...where is the frontier between our 'preferences'? For me a B-2 Spirit is a very, very ugly bird, and for most of you maybe is a 'God' with wings...

Or the idea is to paint a beautiful F-22 with pink colours with purple stars...

I believe that it was Ron that came with that idea. It would be better to ask him what he has in mind.

He has not Voted yet, so maybe he will come along and expand on the idea a bit.

Personally, I can't think of an Ugly aircraft. Some weird ones yes but Ugly? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as the saying goes. Sure, some are 'prettier' than others but any way....

Looking back at the original suggestion, it was actually for strange aircraft. I have no idea where Ugly came from..... I must of had a brain fart.

I could alter the text of the vote but that might just confuse more than helps.

Hi Ian!

Only five days and the poll will be closed... Seems there are no more votes the last days :o -O:.

Can you explain me just a few, please, the "third Kit" suggestion.(not in the box)

The idea is...you have a Tiger Kit and a Merkava one....after a happy married, the result is.... a Sherman? :smiling3:

Not, seriously!! Excuses!

We have to build a "real" model or just let flow the imagination?

Regards

Polux

The idea is to try to get people to have a go at converting a kit. Hence turning a kit into something that was not in the box. Something that has not been made as a kit in a single box.

And not a made up fantasy, that would be to easy. An actual thing that has existed.

Like the Captured Spitfire that the Luftwaffe put a German Engine in.

You could also buy a lorry and convert that. Italeri lorries are a good place to start. Turn a flat bed into an eight wheeled over size hauler.

The Airfix 1/72 Air field trucks are also good for converting. The AEC tanker and the Coles Crane you can build an AEC recovery crane....

Get the idea?

Yes my suggestion was for 'A strange aircraft' or even weird would go nicely with my thinking.....now't to do with a bird or ugly.lol

There are plenty to go at. Take the B17 with a canard configuration for example.

I voted ... But at the time it would only let me vote for one.

If my other votes are required then they are as follows

Not what's in the box

Any chance of a lift

Big brother

If that helps any Ian?

I was looking for a tick box for this vote similar to the group build one......Couldn't find. It was just by chance I ran the cursor over the vote box and 'vote' came up.....It's all very confusing.

Then tried to vote....I managed one, but the 'vote thingy' wouldn't show for the others I wanted.......I give up!

Only joking Ian.
