What it might be built of would be up to the individual....

I envisaged people's imagination running riot with this. The more scratch built, the better.....Even cotton reels could be used!

Paul I'd say yes if it's off eBay but if it's a starter kit you could just leave the price on it :smiling3:

If its a Ferrari, then the Ferrari build.

If it is a cabriolet it could go in the Rag-top build

If you can find a photo of the real car, you could put it in the From a photo build.

Put snow chains on and put it in a snowy dio = anything with snow

Put sand tyres on it and cover it in dust = any desert.

Well I would think that the most of us have a pretty good idea of how much things cost.

Trying to do a build of the HK models 1/32 scale B-17, by saying you bought it for £9.99 might cause a bit of a stir among the ranks...lol

If I remember correctly, the last time we did this one it was based on a published photo. HOWEVER should you wise to go the science fiction route it could be rather hard to find an actual photograph. In that case a capture of a single image from a film could be used.

I can see where you are going but I think the spirit of the challenge is a kit at under a tenner retail price was the intention. It's not to be difficult but to be fair. We can all buy a kit for the £10 max but not all can score a bargain on an expensive kit.

Exit polls are showing that it is not looking good for all the suggestions that have less than 10 votes...

Here are the preliminary results of the poll. So far the suggestions that got less than 10 have been cut. Those with 10 or more are up for the final grind.

So with out further a do, the winners are......

Under a tenner. Any kit purchased for under £10 (or equivalent there of!) 19

The Desert. Any desert, any war. 18

Post war wrecked armour or aircraft. Found rotting in a field… 14

4 engine bombers. Nuff said? 14

Brail scale armour 1/72 Scale ? Can you see it? 13

from a photo. Post a photo reproduce it as accurately as possible. colour or mono 13

The devil is in the detail. Put as much extra detail on a basic kit as you can. However you can. 12

lands on an aircraft carrier 12

A figure build As in the singular A figure. 12

The battle for Berlin 11

Soviet Aircraft. Any type and era. Political hot pot that one :smiling: 11

Anything with snow. 11

Locomotive If it is on rails its fine but lets try to avoid the obvious German railguns.. 11

Prototypes that didn't quite make it. Mass produced need not apply. 10

A classic from the seventies. Time to dig those cupboard queens up and build them! 10

Artillery, with or with out tow. 10

Sorry about the iffy formatting, but the info is sound.

The big question.Do you want to vote it out as to what is a GB and TB and SIG If so I will set up a new poll, or shall I just go for it and get the calender sorted.

If that is the case, if you have any preference to a subject being a 6 month or three month build please say so here.

Dont forget that the 1/24 scale or larger Aircraft SIG IS already on the calender.
