After the scratch made JK model I have finally turned my attention to one of the models I got for Xmas.

This is a 1984 rebox, same as the 79 issue, the plastic is more like resin-unlike the new AMT round 2 retool this has basic detail and decals just for the Surak.

I am still not so good with my hands and fingers and am at a pain-clinic once a week so wanted something easy-the instruction sheet is just one sheet.

It was in the Star Trek Motion Picture film. The new retool has decals for doing Vulcan and Federation types.

It was so simple I have already glued it all together and it is just hardening before I sand down some seams and then give it a primer coat.

I'll be watching too Si ( loved this film when it came out and I remember this shuttle carrying "Spock"

In the clip doesn't it rotate 360 degrees or something before docking with the enterprise.

Looking forward to this

Hope your pain relief gets better Si, thoughts are with you buddy

Kind regards

Robert

Thanks guys, nice kit, big too, 10 inches long.

Yes, Robert this is one that rotates and then docks at the back of the Enterprise bridge area.
