what to use for making a brick building?

Hi guys

am thinking of building a ruined part of a rail station ,just two walls for my latest dio any ideas what to use to carve bricks on to .

I have used 25mm thick insulating foam board it is about the right thickness for stone or brick walls and once you peel off the silver foil on the front and back of the board you can make the shapes or patterns in it very easily.

I use the smooth side of the polystyrene bases you get under a Pizza inside the box.

i read your artical on zulus spanner and thought the pizza base was a misprint,

pizzas for dinner then.

Nice one Barry, if you do go down the Pizza road, just make sure there is a disk of polystyrene in the box. Some are just packed in thin polythene and shoved in the box - no poly.!

How you find out I really wouldn't know - other than quietly opening a box in the shop....which is of course, something us modellers would never dream of!!!!

sound damping foam for under flooring works well. probably tastes better than a freezer pizza as well. lol
