In theory yes! Free standing figures are no problem but sometimes getting sitting figures to actually fit their seat can be tricky - even if they're from the same kit and designed to fit exactly.\ said:Cheers for the tip!
Just had a thought about sizing, is a 1:72 pilot designed to fit a 1:72 aircraft? Never used figures to finish a model before so am a little uncertain!
Thanks for your help though!

Brilliant, thanks Dave, awaiting delivery whilst I finish the cockpit details!\ said:In theory yes! Free standing figures are no problem but sometimes getting sitting figures to actually fit their seat can be tricky - even if they're from the same kit and designed to fit exactly.
Problem is the figure may be 'bent' at a different angle to the seat or may be too fat to sit inside the seat frame (Have you ever looked at the pilot seats in military aircraft? Some of them are really tiny and a tight squeeze for even an average sized pilot).
There are times you have to fiddle around with placings for the foot pedals or even cut the feet off the figures (only if they can't be seen obviously!). It's always a case of try it and see. You can always add a little putty or similar to the seat (like a cushion) or trim away part of the pilot's back to improve the fit.
