Thanks Simon.
No fire or mud either !......... and not likely to be.:crying:
Today having seen the very helpful photos post by Steve , ( he who seems to have unlimited photos of every thing ) I scratched a small wheel trolly. Meanwhile I have been gainfully employed painting the figures, and opening packages . Namely plastic sections , corrugated sheets. Already cut some timber for backing to make a former, these were two part epoxy glued this morning to the wood .

Uniforms were done as per the boxes , but MB and MiniArt both give differing Vallejo nos. How helpful can you get . I will have some dressed as fitters and the ones in black or bits of black as the crew.
Thanks for following , comments by all means .
John.

Uniforms are not, in any army. Not to worry. Different dies, makers, wear & cleanliness are all factors. Shaping up nicely. PaulE

Are they wildly different or just two different shades of the same basic colour? Because in the real world, the colours of uniforms vary a fair amount, so you could just use both.

Hi John
I too love the trolley. Figures coming on well and as the others have said uniform colours must have varied in the field. We're not talking parade ground here. Having so many figures really does add interest to this Dio but preparing and painting them is a big job.

Hi Jim. Yes and good fun painting them and all the kit. Much of the kit is in green, but will show wear. The ladders, well might dry brush with green to show wear, or treat with some oil dry brushing in timber colours.

Yesterday pm and this morning I managed to get this done. Lots to add with ware before they are done.

Apologies for the state of the bench, standards all ways slip when doing a dio.! ( According to Management they are none existent ) :smiling3:

Plenty to add to these, sorry they are a bit blurred, my good eye is playing up this morning, one minute clear and the next out of focus , and the Cannon is is set to auto but I must have moved. .Only need glasses for distance these days, but can see a trip to the opticians for a reading pair.

John, bench does look like a dio makers work bench...wait till the groundwork begins, you'd think you did your gardening on it. :smiling6:

Fantastic progress with the accessories. Sharing seats with Steve has left my right cheek numb...don't suppose you have a double seater? :tears-of-joy:

Cheers,
Richard

Richard.
Mr Jones will fetch one from the stores:smiling:
Thank you for your comment, the accessories are great fun to do. Spent all afternoon painting and dry brushing .
Have checked my stock of foam board, have enough for the building. Won't be any soil, just a stone set floor and a rough brick front ! Stay in your new comfortable seat thing will get more interesting with the electrics !!!!!!

John.
