I'm happy as larry .( Who ever he might be )

Australian boxer Larry Foley (1847 - 1917). Foley was a successful pugilist who never lost a fight. He retired at 32 and collected a purse of £1,000 for his final fight. So, we can expect that he was known to be happy with his lot in the 1870s - just when the phrase is first cited.

Well said JR, and thanks to Mr. Jones for the clarification as to who Larry is/was. I'm sure many of us would have wanted to know. Progress looks good....might consider a No StuG. Parking sign. ;) Rick H.

With the thought of a No Stugs Parking Sign now lodged in my thought's I'll show you some photos of the bunker.

At long last the sides are done, figures in, minus the two around the stove. The lighting cables have to come up through the floor first into the stove, once that is in position those last two figures can be placed.

Now the faces do not have many definitions with shading as I find that part virtually impossible, try as I might it would become a blob. Might have a final try on those two on the seat!

Tomorrow I hope to put in those lights, stove and figures, then loosely fit the roof section and put the lights in the roof before fixing it down.

Nice to see Dude 1 making a long-awaited post.

Ok, thanks for looking in, comments etc etc ..

Dzhon in the Bunker, and No StuGs.

Looking excellent John! I hope they're going to have a flue on that stove, wouldn't want them to get monoxide poisoning!

Yes indeed Pete, and thank you for looking in and commenting. The kit pipe is not long enough, so a piece of sprue has been substituted. Must remember to fit it !

This looks bloody lovely John,
I just love how the figures are all telling their own little stories, eg: 'The guy cleaning his weapon, and the guy sewing his jacket'.. bloody brilliant.
