Joining the rabble to follow your progresses Richard... and I already feel for that poor sleeping GI!
Thanks Tony, Scottie, Andrea and Garry.Great start Wabble, following with interest.
Hi John, so basically they're rats of the skies being city or urban birds just like rats. Recently the local population were alerted to not mingle amongst large flocks of pigeons due to them carrying diseases.Richard, I guess the pigeons are edible, but I would never eat one. The damn things carry more diseases than rats !
John.
Thanks Neil, just hope it stays...it's been behaving like a Mexican jumping bean lately.fantastic stuff there, Wabble, looks like you got your Mojo back!
Thank you Jim, making these little bits has been satisfying. Those bits and pieces look superb.
We seem to say that about any species that successfully adapts to live in the sprawling urban environment we creat John. Rock Doves, Foxes, Rats, Seagulls, all get labelled like this. On the other hand we try to “protect” the “pretty“ species under threat from our encroachment. Weird aren’t we. Personally I work on the premise that rock doves don’t hurt me so I don’t hurt them. Just remember that if we didn’t have developed health care and sanitation we would also be “riddled with disease”. I suppose that if rock doves, foxes, gulls etc collected their droppings together and dumped them in a river we’d say they were civilised.
My ex son in law worked for a pest control company he called them flying rats, full of disease.
WobbleWabble, good to see you .
Loving the idea, and as usual great modelling.
