This is the last of the Japanese fighters for the big project so not long to wait

I'm moving along with the busa dry fit looks good

The office is very stark but it did have a decent IP another closed canopy build so it really is a non issue anyway

Going gear up with this one so I had to sand the mains so they fit in the wells

and now waiting for glue to dry

I like the other colour scheme.Though i dont think i would be able to do it with my limited airbrushing skills. With all these Otaki kits you've built i've noticed they all seem to suffer from bad fit of parts.especially at the wing roots. But still make nice models with the work you put into them.

Thanks Ian. Dave I liked the other one as well but already had 2 grey scale birds wanted one that would break it up a bit, will make more sense when the whole project comes together.NMF on the bottom using MM metalizers

after buffing and blending

Thanks Vaughan!

The wheels were lacking detail so I scratched up some hubs

the decals are down and the wash dry almost ready for weathering

Weathering complete and the build would be as well had I not broke the canopy trying to buff out scratches! Got a replacement on the way hope it arrives soon

What a fantastic finish

How did you do the chipping Trey? Hairspray? Salt? It's extremely effective

Trey, you've got paint chipping down to an art, mate.

Another lovely Japanese bird rolls out of the hanger.

It'll be perfect when your new canopy's fitted.
