You can use either. The fine table salt is good for the small scales, and the sea salt is good for any scales, just smack it up a bit finer for small models. The good thing with the sea salt is that the grains are irregular in size and shape which adds to the effect.

Good luck and dont forget to reduce the air pressure a bit if you air brush, or you will as I did the first time I tried, blow all the salt off! :laughing:

Thanks for the great comments everyone! Ian is spot on about the salt and just for the record I use a mix of kosher and sea salts. Glad to see that its getting up some intrest ca'nt wait to see some others take on it!

I finally got the canopy in the post today and finished up the Busa,I'll get some better pics tomorrow weather permitting.
