My local air museum has one of these.

basically its a 1:1 replica, airframe and engines built by the technology institute engineering students, out of scavenged and/or spare parts.

I would not trust my life in it. (the 2 main rotor blades are stamped with the warning :NOT FOR FLIGHT as it is).

Nice choice Francesco, I have this in my lot too. The RNZAF recently replaced these with the Augusta A109. Cool little helicopters, reminds you of MASH every time you see one.

Bonjourno Francesco (my italian spelling is really bad!)

That is one cool looking cockpit you built there mate! Just love the detail.

One of my mates ownes a Bell 47 and compared to "modern" Robby 44's it is a big helo!

Looking at your build I think I need to aquire one of these kits aswell.

Thank you all.

Just quickly tried this but I'm not sure about the results. Original on top (0.030in/0.90mm), scratched on bottom (0.020in/0.50mm).

I think there's not really a visual difference and that diameter should be smaller. What do you think?

Nice progress Francesco. Keen to see how you get on with the frame and also finishing the canopy.

Let's rewind two days Joe,

the cabin decided to hit the floor: one collective and windshield detached

Now the canopy back on and puttied but no more work for tonight. At least I've added weights to the flybar.

Thank you mates for all your support.

looking at the picture of it and your attempt to make the tail thinner,it all looks nice to me just the right size,or the strengtheners between the the 2 main struts could be a bit thinner maybe, but then will the glue kill the stretched sprue?
