What an eye opening build......talk about the work that is going into this wow...can I ask you where this masterpiece is going when complete, as it should be on show somewhere.

Thanks guys, you are too kind, remember this is only my 2nd scale build so im hopeing to improve as i go along. Your comments are really inspiring, thanks. I plan on flying this one and then it goes up for sale. I will need the room for the next project, the 1/4 scale SE5a.

My next build is totaly inspired by Greyheads imaculate build of his SE5a. I really hope i can make as good of a job as he did with his.

Now we have the wirewooling effect. This is part of the ageing process on these bigger scales. I have decided to cut this build short. Normally i would paint on all the finishing details like Insignia etc, but as this is an all electric model and i dont have the worry of fuel getting on the plane... i have decided to use the decals provided with the kit, i will dull them a little to get the effect. This should save me a hell of a lot of time and im keen to get this finished and hit the SE5a project.

I think after all this high quality work, I would be very nervous about flying this gal.

I know what you mean Ray, i have still never flown the P47 yet or even strted her up. I will get this one airborne and it will go up for sale.
