It's quite a good kit actually I have built a couple of them.

Nice start.

hi Steve i will tag along as well always nice to see kits come together, and pickup bits and bobs along the way,

one thing i have noticed with most ,builds is that none off you seen to do any per under coating or painting,

is there a reason behind it ?

as i do tend to paint the underside and paint in the exhausts, springs, and frame before i put it together is that

the wrong way off going about it , like on half tracks and tank paint the road wheels , and behind them were you

cannot get a brush in later, then go back over with what ever color and do the weating

No real wrong way Moni. its what ever you find works best for you. Nothing wrong with painting as you go.

funny you should mention that Monica I was looking at the chassis with the exhausts /engine etc and I said to myself that I was going to have a job painting some bits , this is the first truck I have built in years so I am a bit rusty hopefully I will get it sorted, I do paint the tracks off model along with the wheels as I find you can get a better overall effect/finish as the amount of weathering you do to wheels and track varies so you cant hide the poor paint coverage sometimes , Ian is right there is no wrong or right way just the one that you are comfortable with , and glad to have you along
