Computer games are like Marmite. You either love or hate!
I have better control of an air brush than a modern games controller!
Years ago I had a joystick controller that was much more intuitive, especially for air to air or space dog fighting. Shame there is not a modern version of a joystick available.

I had the same lament until my wife, who is way brighter than me, bought me a Logitech X56 joystick/throttle combo. Highly recommend.
