well I have always wonted to do a sail ship,of the old,so I had seen kits, but oh so so costly,

I did pickup some female pirates, form Nic,s,and for 28mm figures he dose has quite a few things ,I can use,for the most cannon,s we just love them, 9_9

grates, rolls of rope, cannon balls, barrels, and other bits and bobs as well,

real not sure on the scale, size but should be some where close to,28mm,

it will be 33 decks, and working of the hight of the figer and base will be about 33mm so I,m going for a top of 35/37 mm,for each deck, sas I do know they

were very low,

what I plan to do is start with the rids ,onto the keel, then board it on both sides in/out ,with all the fitting, think I will work around the quarter deck area, O.o

have made a start, with the keel, rid,s ,and guess what no brads or any nail,s as gummy the other half sent away over sea,s >

which I,will pickup in the next day or so from the hardware,as I,need to get a few sheets of balsa as well,

so I hope you do like my idea for this build, dose work out at about,220 h x 270mm w ,which is quite close i think, ;)

and some were in that mess called a table I.did misplace some figures ,just cannot see them, O.o

the next stage will be starting the planking, which on these should not be so hard I,hope,as its a butt join and not over lapping like on a viking ship, 9_9

and get the right high for the decks, there very nice little figures ,if I stop losing them, O.o

A good start.  It's an interesting project.

If you need any spcialist help, the people at modelshipworld.com are very friendly

that would of been a great build to see as well,I think that's the whole plane for me,if It takes far to long I will lose interest in it, :/
