I would love to make this but it is the cost, just cannot afford it. But it does look good I must admit.
I will stick with my 1/72 version.

Are you lighting yours Rob?
Hi Si, if I can get mine looking anywhere near as good as yours i'll be pleased. up it comes with a lighting kit, I've got the first one for the cockpit, I'll be fitting that in the future.

I've started on the frame for the hull, some tiny screws to work with....

....each section of the framework fixes together with either 2 or 4 hole connectors.....

Morning all, update time again. The next delivery arrived the other day....

P1010403.JPG

.....also included was the free gift Han Solo figure, how it was described when I signed up I thought it was gonna be a small scale figure to go on display in the falcon, but no its a big one about 10 inches tall.....

P1010404.JPG

....so I'm well chuffed with that.

Any who more progress, cockpit pretty much finished and closed up with the lighting installed....

P1010402.JPG

Work has now started on the hold/gaming area, the floor got a wash to bring out the detail, technical station was drybrushed and fitted, along with the sleeping pod and seating....P1010405.JPG

P1010406.JPG

P1010407.JPG

...still got the remaining seat backs to fit, just waiting for some filler to dry on them to fill in the backs.

Loving this build.

I have always wanted to one of these subscription builds but I always miss them and find out late.

I may have to do the Bandai one instead!

You should check out their website, I think now you can start a subscription any time. I rather like the look of the Ford mustang they do.

Just a quick update, been working on the hold door way, apologies for the picture quality, but I used my tablet....

20160406_224127.jpg

....each individual little piece had to fitted to the inside of the door frame.

The instructions said to fit the 2 pipes on the right of the door before fitting to the floor panel, but I found it easier to line them up after attaching the door panel
