The first one is entirely CGI, though, I’d say.

If it’s the same colour, why not use it? You may have to thin it a bit more than you would for spraying a real car, but other than that?

Personally I think those first two pictures really show the quality of the modelling in those films :thumb2:
Have to agree with Tim......it's not something I have paid a lot of attention too but that still shows it perfectly!

The film is made in the classic stop motion animation style that Shaun the Sheep has always used
I know. But the picture I meant:

avresa-r-jpg.479050

doesn’t give me the impression of being that at all. Even if you take into account that there would be digital effects applied to get things like the wheel spin etc., it still looks like an entirely CGI scene to me.

Personally the worst I’d say about that is that it’s a digital illustration based on stop motion characterisation. Taking away from Graham’s build now though, so that’s enough from me.

A bit more painting done today, the Land Rover has a first coat of blue, the figures have a few of the brush painted bits done. Pictures to follow!

Thanks Andy & Andrea!
I've done a bit more painting this week, the paint on the Land Rover has not gone on as well as I would like, a bit patchy really, but with a coat of dirt & weathering it should be ok. The Land Rover is a farm vehicle & fairly dirty, so it doesn't have to be tidy.
