Update,
Still progressing with the details. I made up two fire extinguisher holders, these will be painted seperately as i want to paint and add the two fire extinguishers to these so that I am not handling the model too much after painting.

These will be fitted between the front of the side rack and the door on each side, all now in primer ready for paint. Next it is doors and engine covers, plus another cable adjuster for the jib, hopefully tomorrow.
Cheers, Mike.

Hi Mike
Your scratching is so neat and accurate. The whole build is very impressive. A real credit to your skill and patience.

Have you seen the quality of models usually displayed in museums? No museum would want this one — it would make all the other ones they have immediately look like they’re fit only for the bin :smiling3:
Jakko,
That is one of a kind comment, and all I can say is thank you.

John,
Nothing wrong with your work, you do yourself an injustice.
Management is still breathing, coughing, wheezing, cursing, so she must be on the mend.
Cheers, Mike.

Sorry no update today, still bending little pieces into smaller pieces. Will prime up the model tomorrow and we can see it in one colour for a change, just doing things like the doors and engine covers which should all be finished and primed tomorrow.
Cheers, Mike.
ps. Started to look at a base for this so must be getting near the end...

Update,
Finally it is in primer, at the last minute I changed the tie downs for ones from Eduard, so spent a couple of hours trying not to go blind or cross eyed :tongue-out3:. Placed and bent 14, and not one lost, got to be a record. Just got the doors to finish off and prime and then it will be into base colour. I have put the 'A' frame, gas bottles and fire extinguishers into their base colours ready for weathering. The devide between the hull and the top addition has come out ok, not too pronounced and as it looks on the photos of the real thing, so I am pleased with that.
And this is where we are today.

Cheers, Mike.
