Excellent result mate - now I'm even more concerned about starting mine! Inspired decision on non- 'run of the mill' markings!

Once again your comments have really boosted my mojo. Thanks :thumb2:

Almost there :smiling: These Israeli Mosquitos were pretty knackered when the IAF bought them from France in 1951. In 1956, during the Suez Crisis, they were used in Operation Kadesh, when Israel forces invaded the Sinai Peninsula. They had been parked out in the hot desert sun, which was not good for a wooden aircraft, and were at the end of their life. They were withdrawn from service a year later.

I have tried to create a very worn effect.

'Tis done. A really nice kit. The hardest part, well most fiddly anyway, was fitting the undercarriage and then the bomb bay and the wheel well doors. Photos in the completed models HERE

Thanks Ian for setting up this GB and to all those members who were kind enough to comment on the build. I really enjoyed it. Great to see so many variations being built in this GB of the Wooden Wonder.

That is a real peach of a build Jim. Nice variation on a theme.
