Hi Khaden
Great start. Pilot looks fine. Your dad is right about painting. Take your time and try to be as neat as possible.

Just a small bit tonight.
Cockpit details picked out, they looked a bit small for me so I asked daddy to do them, I finished the pilot and everything got a brown wash to help the details 'pop'.

Daddy says once this has dried we are able to glue it all together and then can prime. Mummy is working tomorrow night so it'll be Wednesday before I can do so more.

That's looking good, Khaden - the big blown up photographs give the wrong impression! When you remember the pilot's only 25mm tall then he looks great! Waiting for the next installment....... :thumb2:

Great work. I'm actually building exactly the same kit with my son! Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out.

Thank you everyone.

Beginning to look like a Spitfire now.

Daddy says there isn't much filling and sanding to be done, I want to glue the propeller on now but daddy says it is better to leave it off until painting is done. We compromised and put the back of the spinner in so the propeller can still turn.

Khaden,
when you put the wings on, you really feel that you're getting somewhere. Deciding when to paint before glueing parts, and when to glue before painting parts is part of learning the art of making models - keep it going!

Always nice when you put the wings on and it starts to look like an aircraft.
