You will paint the chassis separately ? Or wait for the entire kit been build?

camo was tricky to do, not over happy with it..........didnt have any suitable vallejo air paint for the black and brown shades but i did have some revell aqua so thought id try it.......my airbrush wasnt too impressed

my plan is not to over weather this, going to try what ive done with rally cars in the past.....a dust wash which will dull everything down and then some mud splashes

ive started work on the cargo. i picked up some resin pallets a while back and funny enough the width of the bed of the Humvee is the same as the length of a euro standard pallet....wonder if that was deliberate on the real thing?. im not building this as some kind of combat vehicle, just a delivery mule so im going to put some 55 gallon drums in commercial colours on one pallet (the drums arnt finished yet....im trying to find some esso/fina/castrol type decals in the spares box and then maybe some oil streaks)......the other pallet im thinking of making up a load under a tarp

Agree, I just Revell Aqua for brush work and highlights.
t.
before i could get hold of Vallejo paint locally i used Revell Aquas and they suited my old air brush but my current Aztek loves vallejo so i havnt bought any Aquas for about 18 months, still got loads and loads of them....use them for brush painting still, just not airbrushing
