Well I fanny'd about at the stash ,changing my mind half a dozen times(at one point you all came close to having a hoplite helicopter gun ship thing ,but thought na don't want to be in their gang yet). Didn't want to put up a list of possibles coz I might not of liked your choosing so why bother in the first place. Manufacturer wise we've moved across the border this time from the Ukraine to Poland.
At the same time of purchase I must have bought the little detail up etch set so what else is in the box

There's one for the colour call out wingers ,looks mostly green to me I reckon a drop of the old OD should be good enough ,I'll make the rest up as I go along.

Just the two sprues
20230304_164908.jpg
The detail up etch the small fret came with the kit.
20230304_165107.jpg
A couple of pages of more than vague instructions
20230304_165256.jpg
Same for the etch
There's not any English on the kit instructions a few bits with the etch stuff but hey ho its only a case of follow the pic's.
Right then as always no such thing as a bad kit just some are better than others the more I study the sprues the more I wish I'd left it in the stash but I must have fancied it at some point else it wouldn't have been in there so as usual you only get back if your prepared to put in ,I'll be back with some more once I've started to put in(looking forward to it really). Not much to report really ,both the kit and etch instructions leave you needing a good imagination ,so have been putting some of the etch to the parts before construction ,etch isn't my favorite subject but on the more you get under your belt the less you feel its trying to intimate you have risked a bit ,was pleased with the bonnet sides it was one of them that once you'd removed the kit detail that was it you were committed ,also made up the front fenders/mud guards not sure on these but at least I've still got the plastic parts to fall back on ,no problems so far ,to be honest RPM wouldn't have been one of my go to manufacturers from previous experience but fingers crossed so far.

Hopefully the next report should see it close to primer. Dave

Messiah wept ,what a piece of illegitimate plastic this is turning out to be ,it all started out so pleasantly building the little sub sections but when you come to put it together the instructions are about as useful as second hand toilet paper ,it doesn't help that most parts have no holes or location pins you have to rely on where the instructions show it ,and then show it differently positioned in the next section. Still rant over have progressed but slowly got the drive chains fitted loads of huffing and swearing committed to the etch once I'd removed the plastic chains and crank/cogs ,wasn't sure how the etch fenders would go but well pleased with them as I said etch isn't my favorite thing but have not let it get to me and have enjoyed learning from it

So onwards and upwards as they say were getting there ,I have spells where I'd rather be building than painting and visa/versa can't wait for the paint. Dave

That's looking pretty nice to me Dave and almost the perfect scale too! ;) I'd love to find one of these in 1/87 scale. Closest I've been able to get is a 1929 Mercedes L5 fuel tanker. Keep it coming, the amount of detail on this is mind boggling.

Coming along nicely Dave
Well despite the instructions doing their best to trip you up it's looking good. Keep at it Dave.

Our love of these odd Eastern European companies Dave ;)
I remember buying that make before, strange lack of locating pins , as for the actual instructions the least said . By now I'd had binned it or more likely

Its definitely not a ‘shake and bake’ is it dave!? Youre doing a fantastic job so far , despite the instructions ( or lack of )
the drive chains came out great , surprising for flat photo etch , are they three pieces sandwiched together ?

They certainly are tony you can see them in the picture at the start of the build ,actually its a nice fret of etch the parts cut away really easily i even shocked myself with the mud guards so its been worth the effort so far. Dave

Thats it up to primer ,etch not my specialist subject but as I said the more you do the less scary it becomes
20230322_110542.jpg
As you can see from the fret all used the windscreen parts not needed as this one has open cab ,the three foot pedals can do one ,the other bits weren't for this kit. So a couple more pics before primer

And a mock up with the fuel tank on the back ,thanks to all for your continual help and kind comments ,the bonnet was a sod to try and get fitted square most of that lovely little engin was hacked to pieces with the snips including some of the cross braces leaving the front end able to twist still were see what it looks like with some primer. Dave.
