Last year I started Collecting these Matchbox Peterbilt’s for some odd reason. I had one already that I bought around the year 2008 in Branson Missouri. I plan on restoring some and build some as Customs. If you have any of these little gems please feel free to post them. Here’s a few I have now. The Milk Truck was the one I bought around 2008. Hi Lee
Memories of childhood. One Christmas my dad made me a garage for my toy cars. It was my pride and joy. Sadly I don't know what happened to it.

Definitely bringing back some great childhood memories. There used to be a shop in my home town that had them displayed in the window just tempting that pocket money to be spent

Now that would be nice. I used to make a Work garage out of a old shoe box one time. I used to get a few Matchbox cars for Christmas and my birthday too. Thanks for dropping in and looking Jim

Thanks for stopping by Mick. There were a couple Hobby Shops in St Louis where they would display them with the Boxes in a glass case it was tempting for me too but I bought Plastic Models instead.

Afternoon Lee,

Just caught up with this interesting thread. It's amazing to see what you are doing with these tiny things. I was never into Matchbox as a kid. Like you, my monies went for model car kits too. I take it you have to drill out the rivets holding the body to the chassis to get them apart. How do you put them back together? Rivets or CA? These are looking sweet and love the restorations Sir!!!

Ok Rick confess how many Matchbox cars would you carry in your front pocket when you were a kid ?

Lee, when rick was a kid, he was so poor, he couldn't afford front pockets to carry them in.............

Prost

Beautiful paint work Lee. Any chance of upgrading the wheel/tire assemblies?
