Started on the base for my Leopard last evening, sitting in the shade in the garden, using –

A4 photo frame (Asda)

Foam sheets (hobbyCraft)

White glue

Tamiya diorama texture paint

Autumn flock (FOG Models)

‘Dead’ winter shrubs (FOG Models)

First thing was to remove the mount from the back of the frame, take the glass out and reassemble the frame. Than cut the foam to fit the inside of the frame, once glued down, I then placed the tank on the foam to get an idea for the angle and drew on the lines for where the hollows would be and the ridges (shaded in pen). Next was to add extra layers of foam cut to shape, fixed again with white glue. This was all left to dry.

Next will be adding the paste, foliage and grass
