The first rule of Viking helmets is: there are no horns on Viking helmets.
The second rule of Viking helmets is… there are NO HORNS on Viking helmets!

So they're actually wings like in Asterix and Obelix's helmets?:smiling3:

discount the wings as well, the danes were the ones adorned their helmets, vikings never did.

Apologies, completely missed the start of this. That's really coming very nicely. Hats off to you as I'd never know where to start with anything like this,

This is looking great Steve. Samurai aren't easy subjects are they?

Bill
Nope, but I would do another one, maybe a black armour version, have tried to play with the reds so it’s not just a blob of a single colour lol

As Maria sings quite eloquently in the sound of music ‘let’s start at the very beginning’ lol , it’s quite an easy piece to put together if you think logically

Looking very fine Steve. Great job putting interest into the red colour scheme, which is not the easiest colour to use well.

Looking good Steve, Japanese Samurai armour is really intricate and no way you can color by numbers. Reds are nice.
