Thanks for the encouraging posts, chaps. But looking at my bash at the prop. movement , summat was bugging me. Then it hit me!

Photos taken at a high shutter speed would not show a complete circle of yellow. The snap would show blurred blades and just the 'Stretched' yellow tips, not a complete circle as I modelled them, so....

Back up to me den I goes and I've just come up with this. Which I promise will really be my last attempt!

I'm happy with it now - Honest. :thumb2:

Cheers.

Thanks Chris. Glad you approve. :thumb2:

I've finished the model.

Purists might think that by the time Bader exited his crippled aircraft, the tail section would be long out of sight - Quite correct, but please accept my 'Compacted' version of the incident, as I didn't want to go to the trouble of modelling the ar*e end and not include it in the finished thingy. Oh, and the radio antenna was ripped off both ends.

My 'Chucker' has been getting her arm in. ;)

No photo trickery. I wouldn't know how to anyway! :upside:

Here is the result......

To add a bit more interest, I've 'Borrowed' the water colour city painting I made when I did that Dornier/ Hurricane coming together for the B.O.B. G.B., which we did a while back.

I'll post the rest of the images over in G.B. Completed asap.

Thanks to those who posted comments and suggestions during the build.

Thanks also to jakko for suggesting and running this G.B. It's been difficult, but fun as well.

Cheers all and thanks for looking in.

Ron

Chris.
Thanks ever so much for your very nice and complimentary post.

How to top this? How about a 'Stick' of parachutists jumping from a Dakota on D. Day? :dizzy:!

Thanks again mate.:thumb2:

That looks great Ron, the damage looks right, the background goes well with the pilot & plane.

Nice to see this floating down again.

Thank you Graeme for your very nice post. :thumb2:

Here I go again eating humble pie. I am really sorry fellas for not responding to all your previous comments when I last looked at my build over three weeks ago. I've simply forgotten to respond to your very kind posts.

...and for this gross omission in good manners, I apologize.
