Made a good start on the weathering, oils and pigments. Wanted a dry dusty/dried mud look.
Then the tracks. very fiddly and awkward. At one stage I though it was impossible!! I've done one side.

Although the tracks are painted I'll have to weather them to match the rest. Hopefully they'll not fall apart as they are very delicate.

Just caught up on this Jim,
It's looking superb Sir :cool:, the one I did, years back,seemed quite small to me in 1/35....

I got the other side track on. Much easier than the first. Added the tools etc and gave an overall coat of matt varnish.
A great kit, typical Tamiya. Their 1/48 kits are really nice. I've build a few now. Converting it to the captured ambulance was a fun project.
