Hi Friends.

This is what I have done today.

Added the rest of the bits to the Tiger and made up some of the Tamiya figures.

Everything was base coated XF19 and the figures uniforms a light field grey.

Tomorrow I will be pre-shading.

What colour will their eyes be Ralph;) I must try and remember the trick of starting off with a lighter uniform colour as I always end up going too dark when the shading starts even if it is the simple wash type I normally do.

Those figures look very nice, what set are they from?

Brown eye's,all of them.:smiling3:Why?,well when I started figure painting Ron Mckenzie(RIP) gave me this great tip.

When painting eye's up 54mm scale paint the eye's brown, and if you paint the face good enough no one will notice the colour of the eye's.

I tend to always start with a lighter shade than what I imagine the final colour should be.

And these figure's come from the German ww2 tank.Field maintenance crew 1/48.

Why do I get the feeling those tiny figures are going to turn out amazing?

The shading looks good Ralph. Really like the huge blob of blue tack handle for the hull, simple ideas that work so well.
Thanks Graham:smiling3:.

Blue tac my favourite tool, has so many uses.

Coming along very nicely Ralph, can't seem to force myself to do anything smaller than 1/35 scale, considering that's all I have in the stash.

I do admire those who take on the smaller scales as they seem more difficult to me.......Jim:smiling3:
