Oh dear, that's throwing up some challenges!

Looking mighty fine though Andy.
Hi Andy, thanks for that, and, yes, it certainly is,but it won't deter me,I look the overall look of it too much ;)
Looks great so far Andy :thumb2:

Shame it’s proving to be so tricky in places but it all adds to the “fun” ;)

Geoff.
Cheers Geoff, spot on there... it does indeed :smiling3:
Some challenging work Andy, but it looks like you’re beating it into shape.
I hope so Ian.... don't wanna fail on this one. ;)
She's certainly throwing up some challenges Andy, however that's certainly a busy looking office.
Cheers Chris, yep it is... but I don't reckon on you being able to see much in the end! ;)
Sure if you wanted it easy you would build Lego.....
..... Oi !!..... As the Grande Fromage of this GB, you're sposed to be the sensible one !! ;)
It looks great Andy. So many time we encounter issues and have to find a way to sort them. You're sorting them and making good progress.
Very true Jim,and thank you,.....we certainly do, I'm slowly getting there I think :smiling3:
Challenging as it is Andy, it's looking mighty fine mate
Cheers Lee.... no way is it going to get the better of me! ;)
Looking good Andy. Way ahead of me, I’ve been trying to get the engine on mine primed for a week… :tongue-out3:
Thanks Tim.... must be a lot bigger engine than my kit one !! :smiling3:
Such a shame when it was coming on so well.
Pete
Indeed Pete... But it'll be ok in the end.... I hope! ;)
Andy,
My apologies mate I have missed this up till now. I'm not a wings person but if any plane was to tempt me it would be the Avenger.
Apologies not necessary Scottie!! ... If you did decide to do one, I'd go for the Hobby Boss one,it would seem to be better than this one.... although I still do have a liking for this one ;)
Keep going pal, you got this
Cheers Mick.... I certainly will. :smiling3:

..... Well,I have an update in the wings.... just depends on if I can stay awake long enough to type it up!!
Thanks all for looking in/commenting :smiling3:

Andy at least it doesn't have tracks !
Looks a bit of a beast, I'm sure you will rangle it into shape.
Give our love to Rach , hope she's feeling better after your chippy visit .

Turret stuff looking good so far. What make were the barrels? Might invest in some myself.

.... Just looked them up and the cheapest I can see is at least about £16 for a pair,if you only want 1 for your Tarpon then obviously I have one left over :smiling3:
..... Pm me your address and I'll pop it in the post. ;)

Nice offer Andy, very kind indeed, but surely yours needs two barrels? There is a belly gun as well as the one in the turret…….
16 UKP is a bit rich for me these days, so I’ll stick with the plastic ones…..

The other weapons were two 7.62 guns, one in the belly, operated by the bombardier and the other to the side of the prop ;)
I agree about the price being a bit steep.. the offer still stands :smiling3:

Afternoon Mr. Smiff,

I see we are participating in a GB now and have decided to have a shot at an Avenger. I do have 3 things I would like to say about this.

1. I haven't lost my sense of humor due to my laptop going tits up on me. My son is correcting this situation post haste...

2. You really should open your windows a lot more due to the green mold on the model. I guess the weather in Devon is very damp...

3. Once again, Cohan is giving his best effort to make you look good on this build. I tip me Derby to him, cause I don't think he could take a bow...

Other than that, great stuff going on here and it should be a real beauty when it's done!!!

Prost
