Tell me about it Colin, I have been on a steep learning curve.Nice job Gary. I do like a weathered bird, but as you know, it's something that takes quite a bit of practice. Sometimes I think I've got it right, other times I know I haven't !
Thanks Tim, I couldn't find a representation for real so I had to imagine what it would look like.Looks good Garry. Soot streaming from the guns is effective.
Thank you Rob, kind of you to say.Nailed it I reckon Garry !
Thank you so much Ian, as this is my first attempt at full weathering I have no idea what just enough, or too much, really is. Or is it just in the eye of the beholder?Very nice work Gary, you seem to be getting the hang of weathering, so easy to go over the top with it. A little is often enough
Like you say It's in the eye of the beholder, a nice sunny summer afternoon, then its over the top, a wet winters day landing on a muddy grass strip then maybe not enough. You see were I'm going? You've done a great job for the first time. it will come with experience. I'm still learning the fine art of weathering.Thank you so much Ian, as this is my first attempt at full weathering I have no idea what just enough, or too much, really is. Or is it just in the eye of the beholder?
Honestly does this look a little OTT to you?
Cheers
Garry
