Ok I haven’t touch this since Dec.16 it’s been looking at me every time I put something new in the bench like “finish me” so I’m taking just a pause on my current builds to finish this little guy up. Tonight I filed the panel for the exhaust and painted the engine and manifolds.I also painted the wheels. Next up will be the prop.
I painted and installed the canopy today. I went to paint it the paint did not match as before so I had to remove the decals and repaint the whole thing. I added the front wheel also.
Well I’m calling this one done I will post outside completed pictures later. The main reason I built this plane was to add this vintage MPC Mechanic I colored his wrench with a graphite pencil and also gave him a final MiG wash for a grease look
Lee,
you don't believe in making things easy for yourself, do you? The Revell Airacobra dates back to 1965 - I was in short trousers at junior school!

John. Thanks for the complement I finally got it done after a year it was very fun and your right if you put forth the effort with an old kit you can turn into a nice turn out
