Glad you're liking him people, and many thanks for taking the time to comment. I realised last night that I need to move the left pupil over a little, but once that's done I can get on with the coat. Should be finished today.

Lovely work and and the head has certainly benefited from your make over.

Its another grim day for the summer, but it should relent over the weekend?

Looks like a big day with the tropical coat today.

A sharp colour contrast too, with the other clothing, which should be fun to do.

Enjoy the paints and keep warm and dry!

Regards

Steve H - Sorry, a bit late for a response, but I got stuck into the bust and time flew. The coat is actually a garment originally developed for the Norwegian campaign, and 'Tropal' is not a typo, but either the original brand or designer's name. Showery and thundery here, which is playing havoc with the light.

Stevie J - Glad you like him. He's finished and drying off. More later......

Lovely work, looks really natural, another front of cabinet finish, well done.

Whats next on the bench?

Its another grey day and only more to come!

Can't mow the lawn in the rain! LOL

Have a good day with your next victim, I have loads of tiny 1/35 ones on the desk!

That's easily taken a top spot in my all time favourite busts that you have done. The shadow work and tonal work on the face is outstanding. Really impressed Peter. You are certainly back on it big time!

Steve H - Next, another desert subject, though we're having a hayfever-relief trip to the coast today, so no painting. Better weather today here in the South, but still cool and windy. Don't forget to post photos of the progress on your figures.

Wouter - Thank you. Fiddled with the face a tiny bit last night, but he's safe in the cabinet this morning.

Stevie J - Very pleased that you like this one. A great sculpt almost paints itself, and Young B Song has done a terrific job here - tons of character in the face.
