Outstanding
Thanks mate.
That, Dude 2, is totally exquisite work!!! That lighting shows the inside of the building off perfectly!!! When you get a minute, check and see if the chickens have laid any eggs for breakfast.......Oh, and don't eat too many pastries Brother. You gotta watch out for the girlish figure you know.......

Prost
Dude 1
Dude 1, I've been very good , not eaten any standard flour products, no chocolate either . Thanks for the comments.

You are so right. John very convincing especially the last pic
Thanks Lee, kind of you to say .
Simply brilliant!
Cheers Andrew.

I love the chiaroscuro in the first piccie. (There's a word you don't hear very often) Great job,

John
Cheers John .

Very artsy-f....y John, but of course, you are an artist, and yes the contrast is very effective IMHO.
Nice one Paul .

Blown away buddy .....nothing else to say. Dave
Thank you Dave.

Amazing, just amazing John.

Andy.
Thank you Andy .
Looking great John, the SU with the transmission hanging off the crane is a nice set up, the figures look a bit like a 90's boy band, (take Thatski?) but I can imagine them trying to 'persuade' the transmission back into place.
Cheers Graeme, love the name of the band :smiling3:

Thanks all for the comments, at one point I lost it with this , just one of those things I suppose.Building so many different items and little to show, then it comes together.
It may look like I'm on line at times , think I must forget to log out when I use one of three devices .
John .

Figures have been done, photos were rubbish so not posting.
Plenty of Game wash on the faces , I just can't do eyes, and at that distance don't think it matters.
Building a scratch frame to support that gear box transmission as its lowered down.

Still have to order the arc welding chip from Small scale lights .

Just had a look at it the Small Scale Lights website. Very interesting.
I totally agree about eyes on 1/35 figures. Unless you are an expert it's best not to try. You just end up with a goggle-eyed monster.

Quite correct Jim, Peter Day was an expert and made it look easy !
I've looked at the cheaper flashing light on the site, not convinced so have ordered the expensive one one. Hopefully it will be here soon !

John,
You are not alone mate, I really struggle with eyes.
me too , mate!
I don't struggle at all as I don't even try in my scale.

TRUE.....VERY TRUE. :rolling:
Same for me!! But there was one chap who could do it brilliantly at 1/72....
Not me, I stop at about 1/56……and I only cheat them at that scale…
That's very comforting to see I'm not alone !

Right sit up and wake up those in the rear seating. At last the figures have been placed, just waiting for the arc welding lights to turn up , put on the roof .Then in to the box and ready to take to St Ives in June/July.

Hen about to be grabbed.

Still building the support for the transmission which will fit under as its lowered. Can unfortunately see some bits that need slight attention so any things that stand out please say.

Thanks for staying with this since October last year !
John.
