Ooooh, I was in there the other week and they have a big sci fi tank thing going on there. There will definitely be one of those on my list at some point! Perhaps i can find out exactly what it is and when i am in a position to purchase speak to you and add it to a furture order?

How about this for another idea hehe. Again, it might be more hassle than its worth.... but...

Things that you can get from suppliers that you dont actually have stock of, would it be worth adding to the site but with a 3-5 day lead time? Showing a lot more items that you can get hold of given a little order with the suppliers? Its always nice to look and see what is available :D

I only like listing things that I have in stock so I can send them out within 24 hours, apart from this week because I'm having a week away, if anyone ever wants anything I place orders on a weekly basis so I can always get things for people, listing other peoples stock can be a pain if I sell it and they are out of stock I can't give a time for delivery and fast delivery is important to me.

John - you mentioned the new Vallejo Air colours. Any idea when they might be available on-line, I am looking to add the UK Azure Blue (108) to my basket. No great hurry!

I am so sorry, I did not notice that you where away...
You made me think when you said you didn't see it, I wonder how many others didn't, you don't normally have to wait so long to receive your order

Not so much as kits, and I think I have mentioned it to you before. How about RAF serials and codes. Yes I know there are so many and in all scales, but as you said you think 1/48 is the most popular (on here at least).

Why not get a few in in the three main colours and a spread of sizes.

I will have some thats for sure!

Hi John,

Most recently with creating my latest creation the one thing I could not seems to find was any British stowage items other than those in the larger expensive kits. All other cheaper sets such as Tamiya seem to be mostly Soviet or German, but then i could just be looking in the wrong places?

Hi Jon

I really like Alpine Miniatures figures. If there's a market for resin figures you couldn't go wrong with these - absolutely stunning detail and well cast 1/35 and 1/16.

Also, Tasca kits are some of the best armour kits around - there certainly isn't a better range of sherman kits IMHO.

I'm trying to think of things a little out of the ordinary but this may not be the path you want the shop to go down - might be a bit specialist?

If I'm being selfish I'd say as many 1/16 (120mm) figures as poss, 1/32 aircraft and 1/16 tanks - but that's just me LOL

Oh, Resicast are great kits too - loads of British armour and figures there.

My preferred era would be predominantly WW2.

Not sure this really helps but it is the kind of kits that are interesting me at the mo.

Cheers

Paul

Hi John,

I've been looking through the shop and there is one thing I desperately need, a good punch and die set. I was wondering if you have any plans on stocking one in the shop?

If you do, or could consider it, then you've found your first client for one!

Great work again on the shop! Much more professional and easily navigable than most of the other online sites!

Best,

Simon

Judging by the other posts, you could do well out of "going native" Seems that there are a few of us that would be glad for a one stop shop for British Military WWII and on...

Just something that may be of help, Arifix are going to be releasing 1/48 Modern UK forces kits, may be something to look into, I know I was a bit annoyed that there aren't more modern UK forces kits. What about resin and photo etch add ons (and possibly decals) for kits. I don't know if you stock any of these currently.

I also think starter kits would be a good idea to help get the kids involved, I know my oldest (at 6 years old) is wanting to start building them because he's seeing me build them.

And, yes, Star Wars kits (except easy fit) would be on my list too.

I will look at the Airfix kits when they are available, I stock a few photo-etch stuff, seat belts etc and keep adding to those, I've looked at decals but there are so many and none of them are cheap I don't know where to start, and I don't want to make the wrong choice and have dead stock just sat there.

John - just a suggestion. Why not start a 'sticky thread' asking members to post items, (models, paints and materials) they buy from other retailers? Patterns may emerge and it might then give you an idea of what to get into stock.

I have started to check your store for what I need in the first instance and then looking elsewhere if you do not have it. This is because of your fast and reliable service that most others do not match so I prefer you where possible.

I would certainly contribute and I am sure other will who appreciate your service.

Among the things I have always gone elsewhere for include IPA (next time I am buying a 10 litre supply to last quite a while for about £28 off Amazon....) and also when looking for/at Trumpeter kits (only bought one of their so far but have 4 or 5 in mind for future purchases).
