Thank you mates.

No updates for now. I'm painting gearboxes and Futuring windows (actually I'm using Livaxing) to close tail and fuselage. Unfortunately the dust here is actively attracted by those windows and i already had to do the job four times without success.

Thank you.

I've been working on the tail that is almost ready for paint now.

Compared to the original one:

I have separated it from the fuselage adding the front wall and hinges (to be completed once mounted);

- built the box on the tail shaft;

- cut out grilles and replaced with PE (first time, nice, but some cleanup should be done);

- cutout the base of the tail fin, added the wall and support for the tail's skid;

- scribed some missing lines and tried the riveter (nice, now I want the RB) to resemble more like the real with thousands of rivets. Actually it should be totally rescribed as kit panels and rivets are mostly wrong, but this will be for the next time;

- built the top and bottom gear boxes.

Given this a great build for the amount of detail and fiddly bits. Outstanding work, keep it up.

Last bit to do is the crew chief toolbox.

I also started working on the main rotor, bending the blades and attaching them to the head. Next step will be wiring.

Stay tuned!

That scratch building is excellent Francesco,

I've built the Pave Low version of this kit, i only scratchbuilt a roof, this puts mine to shame.... Great skills

Thank you for your nice words mates.

I straightened the blades a bit and started cabling the head too. This time i'm trying to avoid copper wire, let's see if it works.

wow nice one Francesco

your eye for detail is really impressive.

maybe the red bag is a fire blanket, or a life raft.

Cheers Richi

Thank you guys, really appreciate you comments.

@richi

I think you're right, also the color indicates it must be some safety device.

Hope to post more soon

Plumbing ongoing, please forgive me for the bad pic.

I also added the bottom plate and now "carving" hinges on the swash plate.
