Nice spit oggy :emo12: You build really quickly,I must be the slowest builder ever.

Nice to have all the history with your build.

Cheers

Well Folks, the Spit is ready for it’s air test (except it’s aerial and mirror which I left off to take the pictures).

I finished putting the decals on and sprayed it overall with Humbrol matt cote which actually produced a satin finish.

Since doing this I have managed to get some decal solvent and a bottle of Klear so I’ll be trying that next time.

It has been quite interesting finding out the difference between wooden and plastic models.

I have to say that I am not unhappy with the results under the circumstances. I still have a great deal to learn though.

The kit was very good thanks Tamiya.

A very big Thankyou to all for their assistance and support in making this model.

In the next episode Oggy trashes a Revell 1/48 Mosquito IV

Onwards!
