I have made a start on the base for my M16. It is constructed from my normal blue foam. The kerb stones and cobbles have been pressed in. The surface has been sealed with diluted PVA. The track is from Mini Art.

I have wiped those drops on the sleepers off since the photo.

Hi Scottie
That is looking very nice. Didn't know that MiniArt did 1/35 track. Is it part of a kit or can you buy just the track?

That will teach you to eat your breakfast cornflakes at the bench :rolling:
Jim
Jim,
Yes mate they do a selection of tracks I also have a signal semaphore which is a detailed kit in it self to add.

I like what you've done Scottie. Always wanted to do something like this but with an M-10.

Cheers,
Richard

Started blocking in the colours so looks a bit of a mess at the moment. Hopefully it will all come good.

I have built the Mini Art Semaphore, a very detailed kit in it's own right. it was also one of the most fiddly kits I have ever built. The rods were very thin( I managed to snap one which was replaced with copper wire). Working out where the linkages should be and securing them in the right place while trying to assemble 3 or 4 parts was a right giggle.

Again colours blocked in and glossed awaiting weathering.
