Ok I’ll update the list. What will he be building?
It will be a Valentine. 1/72 Plastic Soldier Company quick-build wargaming kit. Just need to decide on the version. We have the option of a Mk II, III or IX.

So am I.

Thought he might take some persuading but no. We even get a Russian commander too, so he can have a go at figure painting!!
More great news! How old is he? I’m going to add some Zvezda figs to mine I think.

Great idea, might tempt me into my first tank purchase for a long time….always fancied building a good T34 kit! Which one would you recommend John?

Revell do/did a T34 in 1/35. I found it to be almost a 'shake & bake' kit which flew together with absolutely no problems. Someday soon I hope to finish painting it!

PS Can't speak to the accuracy and the details may be somewhat simplified but I enjoyed it.

And I will do my bit then hand it back to you. Well done.
I did not for one minute think it would be hard to grab 10 for this one. LOL

Dave,
If it was a T-34/76 it was a reboxing of the Zvezda model
If it was a T-34/85 it was a reboxing of the ICM model
Revell certainly don't mind swapping suppliers!

As a further to the difference between the Zvezda & ICM models - there's not a lot to choose, as far as detail goes, BUT where the Zvezda model wins, is in the tracksDSCF0917.JPG
The link & length tracks come on sprues that join together to form a jig........................
DSCF0951.JPG
On which you can assemble the tracks off the model - making it easier to paint tracks & roadwheels

Quite the easiest form of track assembly in modelling today!
ps I have fear & loathing pf vinyl tracks!!!! ( why I haven't made many ICM tanks! )

I really hated the ICM tracks when I made their T34 tractor Dave. That Zvezda idea looks good...
