Well,as I've almost finished the "Nick", I thought I'd make a start o this one... You've seen it all before because Andrew's doing the exact same kit..
...although you wouldn't think so at the moment!! ;)
Looks quite nice, but rather rudimentary,I'm sure it'll work out fine though... ere be pics...

Slow down buddy, you’re making me look bad…..I think you’ll get four great looking aircraft done in the time it will take me to get the Tarpon off the stocks…..

That's a tad harsh, if not entirely inaccurate! I got stalled on the pilot as I want to get him out of the way. Finally got him finished yesterday.

Got to say that the masks and gun barrels look strangely familiar....but can't think why for some reason??  :smiling2::tongue-out3:

You are going all in I see!
Ok,yeah,I see what you're saying!;)
In my defence,it took me a lot longer to finish the "Nick" than I'd anticipated :flushed:...
However,much progress has happened..

Didn't like the kit provided pilot,so I've gone with one of my Lazer printed ones... He ain't perfect, but should paint up o!!
Now, I've done some to the cockpit..

Had a bash at the kit supplied dash panel..

Andy.

That's looking really good..... Mine is still waiting to hit the booth!

I do have one thing to say though and I hate to say it.....but.....

According to the instructions and other builds I've seen, the top of the engine cowling, right back to the windscreen, should be planted in a bluey black color. I think this is some sort of anti-glare device to stop light reflections coming off the cowling and blinding the pilot.....

Tamiya may of course have got it wrong
