Ain’t the steam roller you have to worry about Bob, it’s the falling piano with ACME on the wooden box that’ll get you……
Will keep an eye out, in the sky lol
Life is certainly treating you badly at the moment Bob. I wish you all the best and hope things soon improve.
Thanks Jim

No need to apologise Bob, we're all on your side. Better to share your news, however bad, than to bottle it up.
Pete

Too true Pete, risked going out as it's Julie's birthday. So far no falling pianos or anvils, lol

I really feel for you, Bob. Life is sometimes very harsh but, as they say in Naples: "the night has to come to its end".
Glad no falling pianos or anvils have showed up. Beware of lights at the end of the tunnel ... :nerd: :tongue-out3:

Sadly a scan carried out this morning has shown a tumour in mum's bowel plus lesions. Will know if they can do anything after a meeting with surgeons and the cancel specialists. A op is out of the question due to her age and frailty.

My world is collapsing around me, thank god for my rock, Julie

Sorry, this is really not the place but I thought you mind friends should be told

Off for a walk to try and clear my head

Finally dragged myself back to the mighty Hood. Sorry for the total lack of progress but other things on my mind. This might take longer to build than the actual ship lol

So started to remove the horrible degaussing cables as the Eduard set has pe ones which are much better. In between hospital visits I have been watching a few ship builds on YT, and thankfully the builders have built the ships slowly and passed on some very useful techniques! Greatly improved my sanding and the need to do a lot more prep on the hull!

This took ages but will get there, also various sink marks and scratches to also sort out. Surprised how poor the hull is

Sorry again folks but hope to carry on the work
